NetSteady Communications, Ltd. of Columbus Ohio announced today that is has acquired controlling interest of CamSys Communications, Inc of Powell, Ohio.
NetSteady, a network engineering firm dedicated to the proliferation of wireless network technology, enterprise security platforms, voice over internet protocol services, other mobility-driven solutions sees the addition of CamSys as a major benefit to both NetSteady and CamSys customers.
“CamSys is a great organization with a reputation better than most in the videoconferencing industry” says Chris Hutchison, CEO of NetSteady. “We have acquired CamSys’ knowledge of video in an effort to revolutionize the videoconferencing and VoIP industries. Immediately, we plan to supplement our existing product lines, including the addition of video to our Voice over IP platform.”
As for CamSys, it will remain intact, but will simply be a branch of NetSteady. CamSys’ previous President and CEO Ken Moon will consult to ensure a smooth transition.
“We expect this acquisition to benefit all involved, including our customers.” Hutchison said.
